2. Why we use information
We use information to accept bookings, confirm payment, coordinate courier receipt and return dispatch, examine and document specimens, issue reports, maintain verification records, respond to user queries, detect misuse or fraud, process refunds, meet accounting/compliance needs, and improve website functionality.
3. Consent and user control
By submitting information through the website, booking form, payment flow, contact form, or support channel, users authorize RGL to process that information for the relevant service purpose. Users may contact RGL to request access, correction, or deletion where applicable, subject to report integrity, legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, and legitimate record-retention requirements.
4. Payment processing
Payments may be processed through third-party gateways such as Razorpay, Stripe, Cashfree, PayU, or another approved provider. Users should review the gateway’s own privacy and payment terms during checkout. RGL uses secure gateway integration, server-side payment verification, HTTPS, and webhook validation before confirming an order.
5. Sharing of information
RGL may share limited information with payment gateways, courier/logistics partners, IT hosting providers, analytics providers, professional advisers, fraud-prevention or compliance support, and government/legal authorities where required. RGL should not sell user personal information.
6. Public report verification
Report verification may show limited public data required to confirm whether a report record exists and whether the report details match the item. Public verification should avoid unnecessary personal user information.
7. Cookies and analytics
The website may use cookies or analytics tools to understand site performance, improve user experience, remember form preferences, and secure the website. Users may control cookies through browser settings, though some functions may not work properly if cookies are disabled.
8. Data retention
Booking, payment, support, and report records may be retained for certification verification, audit trail, accounting, dispute resolution, legal compliance, and fraud prevention. Retention periods are governed by RGL’s internal record-retention policy.
9. Security
RGL uses reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including controlled access, HTTPS, secure hosting, regular backups, payment-gateway security controls, and restricted access to report and booking databases. No online system can be guaranteed completely secure.
10. Children’s data
RGL services are intended for users capable of placing certification orders. If a minor’s details are submitted, the order should be placed by a parent, guardian, or authorized adult.
11. International users
Users outside India may submit information for certification services. Information may be processed in India or through service providers used by RGL and its payment/logistics partners, subject to applicable law and service configuration.
12. Updates to this policy
RGL may update this Privacy Policy to reflect operational, legal, payment-gateway, or technology changes. The updated version should be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
13. Contact
For privacy requests, corrections, or questions, users should contact RGL through the Contact page or the official email address published by RGL.
