Refund, Cancellation & Shipping Policy
Important rules for online booking, courier submission, return dispatch, cancellation, and refund handling.
Refund, Cancellation & Shipping Policy
Submission review
Users should submit details and images first. RGL may approve the request, ask for clarification, or decline the request before payment and shipment. Users should not courier a Rudraksha until approval and packing instructions are issued.
Before payment
If RGL declines the request before payment, no certification fee is charged. If a shipment fee or pickup charge has already been generated but not used, refund or cancellation depends on the courier/payment status.
After payment, before shipment
Cancellation may be considered before the specimen is shipped or collected, subject to gateway deductions, administrative costs, taxes, and any work already performed.
After RGL intake
Once RGL receives, logs, photographs, examines, or begins review of the specimen, certification fees may become partly or fully non-refundable because laboratory work has started.
Non-certified or rejected items
A finding of artificial, altered, fused, non-verifiable, materially different, or Not Certified / Rejected does not automatically make the service refundable. The fee covers professional examination and review, not a guaranteed favorable result.
Declared value
User-declared value is not an RGL valuation or liability amount. Shipment insurance or courier declared-value services, where selected, are governed by the courier or insurer terms.
Courier pickup
RGL may offer courier pickup through a shipment partner where serviceable. Pickup availability, AWB generation, fee calculation, transit updates, and delivery timelines depend on the courier partner.
Return dispatch
After examination, report issue, or rejection, RGL returns the item to the address confirmed by the user. Return dispatch may require payment of pending shipment, insurance, or handling charges.
Damage, delay, or loss in transit
Users should use careful packing and consider shipment insurance for high-value submissions. Courier claims are governed by the courier and insurance terms applicable to that shipment.
